OCR Email Service - User Guide

This service converts scanned PDF documents into searchable text using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). The OCR process supports English and Dutch text.

Step 1: Send Your Email

Create a new email in your preferred email program.
Attach one or more PDF files you want to make searchable.
Send the email to: ocrmypdf@wallflux.com.

Step 2: Trigger Processing

After sending your email, you need to start the OCR process manually by visiting this page:

Click the button above or open the link in your browser. This will process your email and prepare the OCR’d PDFs.

Step 3: Receive Your OCR’d PDFs

Once processing is complete, you will receive a reply email with the OCR’d PDFs attached.
Open the attachments and verify that you can now search or copy text from the documents.

Tip: If your email does not include any PDF attachments, the service will respond with “No PDFs attached.” Please resend your email with the correct files.

Important Notes

Only PDF files are supported.
Make sure your PDFs are not password-protected.
The OCR process recognizes text in English and Dutch.
